#BattlingClimateCrisis – People’s Movement for Green India
Approximately 28 crores rural Indians are trapped in dire poverty, facing numerous challenges due to the severe degradation of ecosystems, heightened susceptibility to climate change, and excessive reliance on unproductive agriculture as their primary source of livelihood.
Vanarai believes in having a need-based approach, where people’s participation & Environmental well-being is always central to everything that we do. We use the tool of IEC (Information, Education & Communication) at every stage of an activity/project in order to create the desired attitude for us to witness the anticipated impact/output. This happens in a continuous manner where our main aim is to Create Sustainable Rural Development, this in turn creates sustainable villages.
With a focused goal in front of us and the need of the hour, our approach is aligned with creating socio-economic empowerment through ecological restoration.
Step 1 – Need assessment from a community and environmental standpoint.
Step 2 – Project planning and milestones setting
Step 3 – Aligning all stakeholders i.e. beneficiaries, funding partners, government officials, implementation & planning team
Step 4 – Implementation and Execution
